This online competition is open to submissions in all Indian languages including English.

The current competitions is "Wild Card Competition". We would like to end Filmaka Season one with an open competition. Submissions close February 25^th, 2008. (24:00 hrs Indian Standard Time). There is no theme for this competition so keep your best foot forward, make the best film you can, you are not bound by the limits of the subject.

From the submissions received for “Wild Card” competition one filmmaker will be selected by member voting, one by Filmaka and one by Jury (Selected by One or two Jury members from our Jury pool). These three winners will be allowed to compete in the Final Annual Competition along with 36 Jury level winners from all 12 Jury level Competitions. Please note: There is no prize money for the winners of this competition.

Please make sure the submissions uploaded are of the correct duration: more than one minute and not more than three minutes. Films not conforming to the duration rules will be disqualified. Also make sure that you own all rights to any music used in your submission.

The submissions will be accepted only through the Filmaka.in website through the members area homepage. Please keep the file size of your submission less than 50 MB for faster uploads. We recommend using broadband internet connections for faster uploading. For any other queries please contact us through the form on the help page.

Please get our Music Release Form signed from the authority / person who owns the rights to the music used, You can sign in it yourself if you have composed the music yourself or you own all the rights to the music. Also get the Talent Release Forms signed from all actors (including non-leads and extras) who appear in your film. Parents can sign the releases for children below the age of 18.
